Cotton Shirts

There's a new single available today from Monster Entertainment band Revolution, I Love You and it's called "Cotton Shirts." You can download it for FREE HERE. It’s a slow jam…sort of. Building from 808s, snap samples and a single-note piano melody to a dense, reverb-drenched climax, it draws equally from mid-90s R&B, James Blake, Massive Attack and M83. “Cotton Shirts” is Revolution, I Love You’s first release since their debut full-length album, “We Choose to Go to the Moon,” in September 2011.

For those that don't know, Revolution, I Love You is an electro/indie rock duo based in Philadelphia, Pa. Origivation Magazine describes the band’s sound as “deconstructed pop music.” The band comprises Rob Lindgren (lead vocals/guitar/synth) and Jason Reynolds (vocals/guitar/keyboards). The new single was written and recorded in the living room of their Philadelphia home and mastered by Alan Douches (Sufjan Stevens/Ben Folds Five/Beirut) of West West Side Studios in New York.
